you can from skindex too just grab the skin's photo and paste it on youre pc screen.then go to imgur , upload it and then take the share link and use it

Im using some other way to upload a skin. When you find a skin in Novaskin then you can instantly download the skin itself but when you go to planet minecraft you need to download it then upload it in imgur then copy the direct link then put it in Mineshafter Skin.... Thats what I do and it has worked so far
